FIRST PUB QUIZ NIGHT - 2002

Griffeen Glen Residents Association (G.G.R.A.) held their first Table Quiz in the Foxhunter Pub on Thursday 26th September 2002.

A maximum capacity crowd of 28 teams (Team of 4) turned out to support this table quiz. There was a good spread of teams from across the estate including the latest development known as Parkvale. Winners on the night were from The Dale, with second prize going to a team from The Grove and 3rd going to a team from The Wood.

While the purpose of the quiz was to mark the beginning of Our Residents Association and allow neighbours to meet each other, the quiz also managed to raise some funds for the R.A. (see treasurers report).

The committee would like to thank our Sponsors below for their generous support of this event and we would encourage the residents to also support them.

The prizes were: 1st Prize €200 shopping voucher, 2nd €140 voucher & 3rd €70 voucher.
